The other day the girls and I made an I Spy jar.
This is a craft that I’ve seen online before that I thought was very neat. You fill a jar 3/4 of the way with rice, add various objects to it, shake it up and try and spy all of the items in the jar.
In our jar:
This is a great craft for kids! They had so much fun picking out little objects to put in the jar. I think this is also great to take on the road to keep kids entertained. Autumn is excited with all of the possibilities this I Spy jar holds. She wants to make many different themed ones, which I think is also a great idea.
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! For us in Canada it is a long one. I am so enjoying this summer and it is nice to have Autumn finished grade one now too. We are spending so much time outside and enjoying the beautiful weather that we have been having, even though it has been HOT. We’ve been going for lots of walks and going to the beach and the park often. Last night we even had a little bonfire. The only thing that I could do without is all of the mosquitos! 🙂
