The other day the girls and I did a spring craft.

We made spring chicks using craft foam.

It was another handprint craft of course.

Handprint Spring Chick

To make one spring chick, you will need:

• 2 sheets of yellow craft foam
• 1 sheet of black craft foam
• 1 sheet of orange craft foam
• scissors
• glue

Cut out a large oval shape out of one of the sheets of yellow craft foam to make the chicks body.

Trace your child hands onto the other sheet of yellow craft foam to make the wings.

Cut out the handprints. Cut out two legs and a triangle beak for the chick out of the sheet of orange craft foam. Cut out two eyes out of the black craft foam as well.

Glue the handprints and legs onto the back of the chicks body. Glue the two black eyes and orange beak.

Voila! You have a cute little spring chicky! 🙂
