I love this quote because it reminds me that we are all unique. There is no point in comparing ourselves one to another or our children to other children. There is no need to worry about whether you are doing things ‘right’ or living your life the ‘right’ way. What is right for somebody else may not be what is right for you. We all have to find ourselves and live our lives the way that we know in our hearts is right for us. Everything and everyone around us is always helping us to learn more about who we are at our deepest level and reflecting bits and pieces of ourselves back to us. Try it and you will see that it is true. I see that in my daughters everyday. Even when they get upset or say certain things and I see that they have learned it from me. I get a huge wake-up call. I learn a little bit more about who I am and why I act certain ways and take those lessons and grow into a better person because of them.

So start living life like you mean it! Stop trying to be somebody else. Everyone is unique. Everyone is a genius. Everyone is beautiful and everyone is here for a higher purpose. Stop comparing yourself to other people and just be your unique and beautiful self. Most importantly, LOVE yourself today and everyday!
