Ours was wonderful! The girls got from us something they want, something they need, something to wear and something to read (a little advice I found on the internet for keeping Christmas more simple). A play kitchen and a table and chairs set from Santa. Handmade dolls that look like them from Grandma (which are adorable and absolutely priceless) and some board games, books and toys as well. It was a good Christmas spent with the family. I am happy with how it was spent and how we kept things a bit more simple this year.
