Walking

Since I LOVE walking so much, I figured that I’d take the camera along with me to capture some of our moments together. ๐Ÿ™‚

Every day we go walking by the river now that it is no longer frozen and the bridge is back so we can cross it. It is always nice to be by the water.

There are so many geese there and “the ducks” that we see every day too.

This is the picture of the ducks I took a few years ago and entered into a photography contest which won third place. They sure are beautiful!

We have been playing a game on the walk lately called don’t step on the goose poop. It is everywhere so the game is really hard!

We also play many other games, like I Spy or I quiz Autumn on her spelling or math and she quizzes me as we walk. This is the kind of learning we do together. I think that it is so good because she is engaged and interested and we are having fun too. We also play this game where one person says a word and then the next person has to say what that word made them think of and on and on it goes. I call it thought train. It is an interesting way to see how your mind is always thinking and has so many formed associations about everything in the world.

Kesa has been wearing this silly hat all the time that she used to wear when she was a baby. It has been a part of her regressing and wanting to be a baby again. We always laugh so hard because her face is all squished up and she looks absolutely ridiculous!

People always smile a big smile when they walk or drive by and I just pretend that I am not her mother.

After the walk I sometimes take the girls to the park too. When we go all the stuffies have to come too.

Serafina is getting big enough to sit in the stroller without the car seat anymore. My little baby is not so little anymore. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I would let her sit this way already, but it has still been too cold out.

Life is beautiful! ๐Ÿ™‚
