Kesara turned six years old on the 5th of June.
For her cake I decided to make a small bear cake using my recipe for chocolate banana cake with homemade chocolate frosting. I made some cupcakes for the bear ears and used mini oreos and carob chips for the eyes, a Brazil nut for the nose and shredded coconut for the mouth.
We had many visits with cousins and friends throughout the week since no one could all get together on the same day for a party, so it was like having a party everyday.
On the morning of her birthday I made banana ice cream and brown sugar and cinnamon toast for a special breakfast.
It was a wonderful week-long celebration and I am so proud of the little lady my girl is becoming. So kind-hearted and fun-loving. Always making us laugh and smile with her silly antics and always thinking up imaginative things to do or special songs to sing.
