Kesara turned seven on Friday!
For her cake, I made a Chocolate Banana Cake and a marshmallow fondant. I decided this year to just let her decorate the cake herself using edible markers. She drew a rainbow, flowers, bees, fairies, toadstools, and butterflies.
We made the cake a pinata cake and filled it with her favorite candy, Skittles, and some other organic candy.
With the middle part of the cake the girls also made a mini cake and topped it with Hercules Rainbow Loom figures that they made. Kesa loves Hercules and so she made her party a Hercules-themed party. They made all of their own decorations too.
It was a small celebration with a few friends and three cousins. It is always nice to get the cousins together.
She was happy to have her rainbow loom case well-stocked on her birthday morning, thanks to big sister Autumn’s gifts.
The fact that years continue to pass by in the blink of an eye, is really starting to freak me out, but I am so happy that my little girl had a wonderful time turning seven. She is turning into such a beautiful young lady and I notice more and more that her hair is turning redder, like mine. I wish I could pause time and savor the moments more fully before they continue to slip through my hands.
Happy seventh birthday beautiful Kesara! 🙂
