It has been rainy and cloudy nearly everyday for a week now so to brighten things up, I decided to do this fun craft with the girls.

Handprint Sunshine

For this craft you will need:

• a paper plate
• yellow paint
• paintbrush
• yellow and orange construction paper
• pencil
• scissors
• tape
• black marker

First, paint the paper plate with the yellow paint and allow it to dry.

Trace you child’s hands onto the yellow and orange construction paper. You will need about 10 handprints, depending on the size of your child’s hands.

Cut out the handprints and tape them onto the back of the paper plate, alternating between yellow and orange all the way around.

Draw on a happy face with the black marker.

Hang any place you could use a little more sunshine! 🙂
