Here is a collection of recipes that my family enjoys. All recipes are vegan and are made using healthy, natural and organic (when possible) ingredients. Most of my baking is sweetened naturally, with pure maple syrup and I always use whole wheat or other whole grain flours.

What do you mean when you say press the tofu?

Hi! You can press the tofu by laying it between some paper towels or clean dish towels, stacking some heavy books on top and leaving it for about 30 minutes – 1 hour before cutting it to use in a recipe. Or you can also use an actual tofu press http://tofuxpress.com/NEW/. You want to press the tofu to get the water out so that it will absorb the flavors that you cook it with and be more firm and not soggy. Hope that helps you! 🙂

Yes it helped a lot I made a teriyaki tofu yesterday and some pieces were firm and flavorful and some just soggy 😦 I’m new to cooking tofu so this helped a lot thank you
